Open Days at the Upgraded Elcom-Electro LVES (Low Voltage Electrical Switchboard) Production Facility

The news of the relocation of the LVES production center and the expansion of production facilities stirred a lot of interest among the company's customers and requested a number of visiting days so that everyone could get acquainted with the new site.


The area of 1,400 sqm accommodates:

  • an Engineering Department;

  • Assembly line covered by 24 jobs;

  • copper busbar (up to 16*160mm) processing center with the possibility of simultaneous bending, punching and cutting;

  • Technical Control Department equipped with testing equipment, including the Metrel MI3102H multifunctional electrical tester;

  • a 300 sqm warehouse

Up-to-date approaches to the technology of assembling and testing the LVES products have been introduced in the production processes, as well as the certification of such advanced manufacturers of electrotechnical equipment as ABB up to 1,000A, POWER LEAGUE DKC up to 4,000A and EKF with the "Expert" status.

Monthly production capacity reaches 100 Final Distribution Boards /Input Distribution Devices, 800 wall hanging cabinets and up to 1,000 household switchboards with consistently high quality of assembly.

In February 2019, Elcom-Electro has already done two tours of the upgraded switchboard equipment site.

It was demonstrated how the design and assembly of electrical switchboards is being done on an industrial scale. The visitors learned about all the stages of assembly with great interest: beginning from copper busbar processing, pre-assembly and assembly to the finished products testing on a special stand.




Customers got to see firsthand the high quality of the assembly of switchboard equipment assembled in a 1,400 sqm facility by two teams of electrical installers from Schneider Electric, ABB, DKC, and KEAZ parts under the Elcom-Electroshchit brand.
