The first question: How to formulate the application title correctly? 

The key task of the title of your application is to make you stand out from the whole list of applications. To attract attention. And to get them hooked. The applications will be judged by the jury of the contest, which consists of experts, as well as ordinary visitors to the site, who will choose the winner of the Audience Award.

Your potential customers will also be among those, who will review the applications. No one wants or has enough time to open every application. So, they will see only those applications that will attract their attention somehow.

The easiest option is to put the name of your company in the title.

Some people also add the nomination title. For example: KirovElectro, LLC - Best Presentation in New Media.

But the name of the nomination is always present in the list of applications and on the page of the application itself. So, we do not think it is necessary to repeat it in the title.

Some participants decide to praise their application right in the title: The best landing in Russia - ROSEK.

Not a bad option. Ambitious. Makes us smile. But only when the rest of the participants did not do the same. Now, imagine a list of 10 similar titles where each one claims to be the best. The smile will be rather sarcastic.

If the variant with just the name of your company does not suit you and you want to stand out somehow, we recommend adding a descriptor to the name of the company - a description of the general idea or advantages of your business, packed in a very short phrase.

For example: Elektropribor-K, LLC. Russian electric brooms wholesale with delivery.

The jury and, importantly, your potential customers, will immediately see and understand what you are doing, looking at the list of applications. Against the background of other applications, in which participants simply praise themselves or mention the name of the nominations, you will look more advantageous.

Your title is a mini-advertisement. You do not need to praise yourself there – everyone does it and no one trusts it – but you need to hook them with specifics.

Or make a good joke, add something creative to make them open your application to see what kind of fun this company is and what interesting things they have on their website.

The second question: which nomination to choose.

You need to choose those in which you have something to show. If you have no online store and you do not use landings, please, do not choose these nominations. There are no more limitations. Remember, the more nominations you apply for the more chances to win you have.

Cast aside your doubts! Many people think: my website design is not good enough, there definitely will be great projects at the contest and I see no reason to participate...

This way of thinking is wrong. You still need to make an application. Sometimes you cannot assess correctly what you have done and what are you working with on a daily basis. It seems ordinary to you, but the jury may finally choose your application and gave it high marks.

If everyone is so timid, there might be no competition in the contest. Then it is easier to win.
