Schneider Electric's New UPS Family: Easy UPS 3S

Schneider Electric introduces a new family of three-phase Easy UPS 3S for medium and small-sized businesses.

Schneider Electric, a global expert in energy management and automation, introduces a new family of three-phase UPS in the mid-price segment: Easy UPS 3S. Easy UPS 3S is an effective and reliable solution for the protection of equipment with a capacity range of 10 to 40kVA, designed for the use in small and medium-sized businesses.

The new UPS are easy to install and maintain, and combines the best features of contemporary uninterruptible power supply systems: compact design, single output power factor and double conversion efficiency up to 96%. The presence of an additional mode of energy saving, ECOnversion with the efficiency up to 99% allows to design energy-efficient systems.

The new UPS will be an ideal solution for protecting the power supply of the equipment in the segment of small and medium-sized businesses, civil engineering, as well as small server rooms," says Pavel Ponomarev, development manager of the "three-phase UPS" subdivision of the Schneider Electric IT Division.

All UPS of this family are available in different versions: both with and without built-in easy-to-install batteries. Models without pre-installed accumulators are sought-after by the customers with special requirements for battery packs, in case of using the existing customer batteries or installing batteries on a rack. A more flexible service pack approach designed specifically for Easy UPS 3S is also offered for easy usage.

Easy UPS 3S have a wide range of input voltages and high overload capacity, previously unavailable in this price range. Lightweight and compact, the devices are built in accordance with strict Schneider Electric standards and can be operated both in data centers and outside the IT sector. The intuitive display that supports the Russian language provides easy setup and operation, and the built-in Modbus/RS485 interfaces, "dry" contacts and optional remote access using the EcoStruxure IT hardware and software platform allow one to adapt the UPS to the needs of any business, taking into account the specifics of the facilities.




 

Other advantages of Easy UPS 3S include:
