New from EKF: Solid State Single Phase RTP Relays for Industrial Facilities

The novelty is in the line of solid single-phase semiconductor relays and is designed to provide contactless switching of power circuits in the ranges of load currents of resistive or inductive type, common in industry.

Functionally, RTPs act as intermediate relays or contactors. The control signal is adjusted smoothly (4–20 mA) or discretely: switching on and off is carried out strictly at zero voltage.

The relay board is sealed with a compound, equipped with a status indicator and a protective cover. Non-contact control avoids sparks, electric arcs, and increases the speed and frequency of the relay.
