New EKF Patent: Metal Overlays for Padlocks
The product is designed for additional protection of the access to the cabinet and makes a unique alternative to other methods of protection in which additional holes are made in the casing compromising its air-tightness. It is important to note that the installation of the product takes no more than a minute.
In position 'closed' the overlay is fixed through the eyelets with a padlock. Similarly, the casing can be sealed in the same manner.
The overlay is made of metal and consists of two connected plates. The overlay is attached to the casing door by means of a fixed plate in which a lock hole is provided. The second (rotating) plate allows one to open and close the access to the keyhole. Due to its design, the overlay covers the keyhole completely both on the front and on the sides.
