New BigPro project: South Entrance to the Exhibition of Economic Achievements

A full-cycle architectural lighting was created for the object of cultural heritage of federal significance - the South Entrance to the Exhibition of Economic Achievements.

Backlight task:

To illuminate, to complement the architecture with light, but not to change the recognizable architectural image of the arch with an almost 70-year history.

Completed work:

created a lighting concept made lighting calculations made a 3D visualization of the lighting project selected equipment delivered lamps made designer supervision of equipment installation

About the object:

The South Entrance is the entrance to the Exhibition of Economic Achievements, located if entered from the 1st and 2nd Ostankinskaya streets. The South Entrance serves as a secondary entrance to the exhibition and was built opposite the North Entrance in order to introduce symmetry into the layout of the exhibition complex. The decoration of the upper part of the arch of the South Entrance is compositionally reminiscent of the city gates of an Italian city. The construction of the arch took place from 1951 to 1953.
