#stay home: learn electrical engineering online with ABB
The training center of the “Electrical Equipment” division of ABB in Russia from April 6 to May 17 is holding the first wave of webinars for specialists in the electrical field. ABB experts will talk about the company's advanced solutions, their operation and application areas, as well as present new technological trends.
Listeners who have successfully completed a series of webinars on one of the proposed topics will receive certificates. Their validity period is 2 years. To obtain a certificate, it is necessary that the listener was present at the webinar at least 80% of the time it was held, and also gave correct answers to at least 75% of the test questions at the end of the webinar.
The topics of the webinars cover a wide range of areas in the electrical field: from solutions for industry to building control systems for building using the KNX protocol. Participants will enjoy online seminars on ballasts and power circuit breakers (including the popular ABB Tmax and Emax ranges), power distribution systems, enclosures for low-voltage switchgear and industrial connectors. A separate series of webinars will acquaint listeners with the latest wiring products, intercom systems and the solution for the automated control of engineering systems of the building ABB i-bus KNX.
The list of online courses for those who have previously attended ABB webinars now includes a new 4-lesson course - “Using ABB Medium Voltage Equipment in Power System Design”.
“Webinars are an effective way to get through training, which has already proven itself to the audience of courses in the Training Center of our division, says Alexander Prudnikov, the Head of “Electrical Equipment” division at ABB in Russia. In today's challenging environment, we are scaling our expertise and expanding course curricula to help electrical engineers acquire new knowledge remotely and interactively.”
