RAEC at IMELCO 2019 General Assembly

On May 7-9, an ordinary annual General Assembly of IMELCO members was held in Brussels, which is traditionally attended by RAEC, a member of IMELCO since 2014.

RAEC was represented in IMELCO by RAEC BOD Chairman Andrey Sukhoverkhov and Commercial Director Viktor Svintsov.

The first day was dedicated to socializing with trusted IMELCO suppliers, as well as the development of new contracts. On the second day there was a discussion of new IMELCO projects in marketing and Digital, as well as the awarding of the best suppliers under the Supplier Award Program 2019. Suppliers are awarded on the basis of multi-factor assessment of distributors in each country.

At the end of 2018, the winner in the "Best commercial policy" nomination was Ledvance, Legrand took the "Distributor loyalty", and Schneider Electric took the "Best supplier".

In a friendly conversation, our RAEC colleagues from managed to trade some experience with the heads of the Italian and British associations on digital, centralized marketing, and information exchange with suppliers. Sharing best practices at the IMELCO platform helps RAEC greatly in finding new ideas for development.
