LBC-RAEC Index Results for September
The Russian Association of Electrotechnical Companies and Lighting Business Consulting have presented the results of the Entrepreneur Confidence Index Survey in the electrotechnical industry for September 2019.
The LBC-RAEC Index in the electrotechnical industry in September continued to decrease, it amounted to "-1" point, having fallen by 8 points compared to August. In the first autumn month the Index value was close to the lowest rate, «-2» points, which was recorded in May of this year. According to the September results, representatives of the leading electrotechnical companies are not optimistic about the electrotechnical industry.
The decrease in the following components influenced the most the overall decrease in the Index value. demand (applications, orders, customer appeals), finished goods output (sales) plans for the month, stock balance*. The respondents believe that the number of employees increased slightly.
The marks of the LBC-RAEC Index in the field of electrotechnics for September 2019:

demand (number of applications) «+4» points (decreased by 4 points compared with August),

sales (number of shipments) «-6» points (decreased by 1 point compared with August),

stock balance of finished goods for the month - «+4» points * compared with (increase in 2 points compared with August),

the number of employees «+4» points (increase in 3 points compared with August),

finished goods output (sales) plans for the next 3 months «+1» point (decreased by 4 points compared with August).
Answers to optional questions:
According to respondents, sales in September 2019 were slightly better than in September, 2018 - the value of the component is «+1» point.
The component "Sales to the public sector" decreased by 6 points compared with August. The value of the component is «-2» points.
The “accounts receivable” component of the companies participating in the formation of the Index decreased by 1 point compared with August. This is a positive change, showing a slight decrease in the receivables of the companies participating in the survey. The value of the component is «+4» points **.
