LBC-RAEC Index Results for August

The Russian Association of Electrotechnical Companies and Lighting Business Consulting have presented the results of the Entrepreneur Confidence Index Survey in the electrotechnical industry for August 2019. 

The LBC-RAEC Index in the electrotechnical industry in August decreased by 5 points compared to July and amounts to "+7" points. The participants, representatives of the leading electrotechnical companies, slightly reduced their assessments of the Index components, but the total result remains a positive value.

The decrease in the “Sales (shipment) for the month” component influenced the most the decrease in the overall assessment of the industry.

According to the respondents’ assessment, the number of employees decreased. Positive dynamics was shown by the following components of the Index: demand (applications, orders, customer appeals), stock balance*, finished goods output (sales) plan for the next 3 months.

The marks of the LBC-RAEC Index in the field of electrotechnics for August 2019:

• demand (number of applications) «+8» points (1 point per week growth),

• sales (number of shipments) «-5» points (decreased by 7 points compared with July),

• stock balance of finished goods for the month - «+2» * points (decreased by 1 point compared with July),

• number of employees «+1» point (decreased by 1 point compared with July),

• finished goods output (sales) plan for the next 3 months «+5» points (increased by 1 point compared with July).
